Rev. Edward A. Hackett, Jr., Pastor
Personal Mission Statement:
To see lives transformed one by one as I share the power of God’s love and grace in Jesus Christ.
I graduated from Lyndon State College in Lyndonville, Vermont in 1978 with a B.S. Degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies, and from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, Massachusetts in 1983 with a Master of Divinity Degree.
I am an avid golfer, biker and Red Sox fan (true confession!). I enjoy almost any sports activity. My newest sport is kayaking!
I have been married to my best friend, Margaret (Peggy) for thirty-seven years. We have three wonderful sons; Eddie, who lives in Philadelphia, PA, Ethan (and his wife Colleen and our grand daughter Maeve) who live in the Rochester, New York area, and Elijah, who is attending Rochester Institute of Technology who also in Rochester.
Life Changing Moment:
The moment that changed my life forever was when I accepted the wonderful gift of God’s Son, Jesus Christ, as my Savior while in high school.
What I enjoy most about being a Pastor:
I enjoy seeing people’s lives transformed as they draw closer to God in Jesus Christ and as they discover and use their God given spiritual gifts to helps others inside and outside of the church to experience the same. I am energized when I see God’s people connecting with God.
